Item Attributes Setup
Prerequisite: Please make sure you have installed the Power BI Insights Connector App.
In Dynamics 365 Business Central open the Power BI Insights Connector App.
Select Related > Setup per Company > Item Attributes Setup.
In the Business Central Insights apps, you will have the ability to filter your data by up to 16 pre-selected Text Item attributes, and two Date Item Attributes.
The selected item attributes will be de-normalised and available as columns in the Item table in our Power BI apps.
In Power BI you will find all 16 item attributes in the Filters pane on the right side of the reports.
Please notice that the Item Attributes Setup is company specific. You have to set item attributes for each company separately.
